AWI Europe

Ashley Whippet Invitational European Championship Series

With a long history in disc dog sport, the Ashley Whippet Invitational is the original disc dog competition series. AWI qualifying events are held across the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. The European series brings AWI qualifiers, ranking, registration and championship qualification into one structured workflow. Teams compete in the official AWI divisions and can earn invitations to the AWI European Championship. This platform helps players, hosts, judges and AWI Europe keep event information, entries and results clear and accessible.

Built for AWI Europe tournament management

The platform guides players, hosts and judges through fixed workflows. Data is maintained once and then used for tournament applications, registrations, start lists, scoring, results and EC qualification.

Players

Players maintain their profile, contact data and dogs in their own account. Registrations reuse this data and historical qualifications are linked when handler and dog match clearly.

Hosts

Hosts submit tournament applications with date, location, divisions, limits, fees, registration settings, camping, catering, additional offers and judges. After approval, events appear publicly and in event management.

Judges

Judges are assigned inside the tournament application. Assigned judges see their tournaments and use the intended start list and scoring areas there.

Player and dog registration

Players manage their own data and dogs in the dashboard. Each dog is created once and can then be shared with other players.

  1. Register player

The player creates an account, confirms the required information and maintains profile and contact data in the dashboard.

  2. Add dog

The owner adds the dog in their own account. Name, call name, breed, sex, date of birth and further dog data are then available for registrations.

  3. Share dog

When another player starts with this dog, the owner shares the dog through dog management. The approved player can then use the dog for their own registrations.

How the tournament application works

A tournament application follows a fixed review path. Only after approval with status approved is the tournament handled as an approved event.

  1. Open account and application

The host logs in, opens the tournament application and can use one of their previous events as a template.

  2. Enter event data

The application stores event data, date, location, contacts, classes, divisions, fees, registration settings, camping, catering, additional offers and judges. The system shows date conflicts.

  3. Review and approve

Admin or Event admin reviews the application and sets status and approved date. Host and admins receive the matching emails; assigned judges are notified when a valid email is available.

Important note This system is being rebuilt step by step. The reason was a hacker attack in 2026 that made the old website unusable. Based on current knowledge, no personal data was accessed. Some areas already work, while others are being prepared for the next stages of AWI Europe tournament management. AWI Europe has transferred historical data into this platform; despite careful handling, individual import or mapping errors cannot be fully excluded. Please send correction notes to kontakt@ashleywhippet.eu.
